This seems like massive effort I looked into it last year when I went on a Linux & self-hosting learning spree, and basically everything I found online said not to bother self hosting mailBecause I like life to be difficult, and in my mid life crisis, I am back to running my own mail server on OpenBSD with mutt as my client.
Spam solution?
You'd be pretty hard done by to find anyone with their salt doing Exchange on prem either. This seems like massive effort I looked into it last year when I went on a Linux & self-hosting learning spree, and basically everything I found online said not to bother self hosting mail

Protonmail web and phone apps both have search functions.I dislike protonmail after 8 years.
I’ve never accepted the fact I cannot search my emails. It’s not a daily thing I do, but when I do want to… it makes me sad.
OK I concede lol.rspamd, the stack is: pf, opensmtpd, dovecot, httpd, acme-client etc.
Yeah, sadly - I come from an Email Admin background which is why I still enjoy it, most people would hate running it on prem again.
I wouldn't recommend it for 99% of people, I probably wouldn't even recommend it for myself, but as I say it's something I enjoy.
Um when did this come in?Protonmail web and phone apps both have search functions.

Goal PostMate. Search here looks at the subject lines only.
Not the body of the email that is what you want to search all of the time.
You understand the point of protonmail right and the limitation that technically brings to the client, hence why there is no search?
What am I missing?
