Noticed someone voted Valve, just in case, not everything on steam is published by valve yeah?

Joke :p;)

You mean they don't ;)

I'm undecided on what my favourite publisher is, but for quality vs number of releases Valve would win it by a mile for me. They don't release much themselves, but I can't think of a single one of their games that I haven't sunk a lot of time into and I think I've got all their games, whilst other publishers tend to release far more but be quite hit and miss.

I was torn between Valve, Bethesda and then CD Prokect Red

Ultimately, CD PR got my vote, they know what the customer wants but still sticks to their guns and delivers a game they enjoy.

Sure, W3 got a horrible graphical downgrade, but I bet you my left nut they have learned from that and won't pull it again.

Probably Bethesda.

But I do love Valve and CDPR also.

Pre-Activision Blizzard would win over them all though.

I voted CDPR, but in a years time it may well be Microsoft if their Play Anywhere launches, works, and we get good quality 'ports' of xbox games. I think their new stance (currently mostly all talk) is alright. I think they're well within their rights to have their own store for these PC+xbox games.

Used to be 2k/THQ before they went poof, Microsoft in their early years but now it's between Bethesda and CDProject. Bethesda won because of the hours I have sunk into their games and imho, I didn't really enjoy any of the Witcher games as much since the first one, they just became too "good" and popular for me. :P

Deep Silver a close 3rd for their gritty, underrated Risen games.

I voted "Take-Two Interactive", but it's a difficult question... CD Projekt is the best publisher in terms of how they treat their fans.

CD Projekt of course. Yes, so far they have "only" released three games and two large expansions, but considering that these games are better than 99% of games from other companies...plus of course their DRM-free stance, post-release support, no preorder DLCs, running GOG.com aka golden standard of videogame distribution..nobody comes close. Not even Valve, which is sad. I used to love Valve, but now they are all about multiplayer BS and stupid microtransactions...meh.

Second place probably Square Enix tied with Bethesda, I despise business practices of Bethesda but I like their games, especially from Arkane.

btw gotta love the hyperbole about "horrrible downgrade" of TW3 when it is still best looking RPG ever made and amazing looking game in general...and rewatching old trailers, they don't really look that much better, just different.

I would vote ubi for rainbow but I've really started to hate their lack of AC :(.

Got to be EA for the battlefield series although killing c&c is unforgivable.

Do Rockstar not count as PC publishers?

Last I checked, Rockstar were a developer. If you wish to vote for them, you would need to vote for Take-Two Interactive which are their publisher ;)

Is this essentially did you prefer Fallout 4 or Witcher 3? Cos thats what the results look like.

Aye :o

I made an error in the thread title which cannot be changed. I was more after Which publisher offers your favourite games? But people only read title and vote, no one reads OP I think lol :p

My original question was, if you had to pick only one publisher's game's to buy for the rest of your life, what would it be. But it was to hard of a question it seemed, so I changed it.

For me it cannot be CD Projekt, they have not stood the test of time for me. If they are still like the way they are in 5+ years time, they may take number one spot.

Surprised by results overall. But it does go to show that other publishers need to look at CD Projekt and take a page out of their book.

EA seem to be trying to improve, but I still do not forgive them. Not purchased a FIFA game for years as I do no want to give them my money. Also hate that they do not put their games on steam. They should at least give people the option, maybe price it higher or something making origin more attractive.
