Which MoHAA Clan did you play for?

[Stella] clan, I was early teens playing this game with my dads friends, we didnt take it seriously as most were very casual players and useless which frustrated me as I was bloody good.

Used to go under the Alias of 'Cracker'

I was in a clan as a kid can’t for the life of me remember the main name but I was in the Juno division . Played matches against quite a few of the ones iv seen on here, played original cod with them lot aswell.

We had the clan tag [JUNO] Ghost

If anyone can remember private message me!

I’m sure our Juno division played you a few times

Quite possibly, we didnt play many ranked games. Most of us were using a ripped install of the game off a CD and the install path was a mess so when clans asked for screenshots to show we werent cheating it was practically impossible.

Ghost definitely rings a bell, but could have been quite a common name.

And to make everyone feel old, this past January is the games 20th anniversary, which went unnoticed by virtually everyone, including EA. How the **** has it been 20 years already? :(

First of all, nice to see old skoolers are thinking about Mohaa.

I was Blackadder in AKUK and later it became <<RAK>>
I wasn't the retard that started things to go ****** up btw.

Too many captains on one ship always goes wrong, but the real reason i'm responding is Toffs .

Miss your wars m8 , and started playing again( after 10 years) on the WoV server, Alpamac is the anti cheat it appears.

DMW is gone by the looks of it...

I was a member of .sB and began playing with Dinand again.

So Threshy and all other Sexeh Biatches who read this, come and join that server.
WOW, Dinand/Vince, that name is a blast from the past, login to your account on here and check your messages buddy ;)

Hello Toffs^ :D

This was one of the best games I ever played tbh, before I started playing World of Warcraft. I played it since release, up until about 2008-2009 iirc. I spent hundreds upon hundreds of hours playing this game, epic times... :D :D :D

Completely agree. Before this was Delta Force 2 for me when I started competitive FPS. Mohaa was a huge stepping stone in gameplay and graphics. So good, great memories.

After Mohaa, went to CoD, and CoD2 then a bunch of us heard about this WoW and decided to jump ship to that, and wasted a lot of life playing that game haha, but those were the good ol' days!

In which clan were you?

Hi mapper mate!! so much time we spent on Radiant, that damn BSP compiler, and .MAP forums, didn't we ? Some legendary names of the modding scene still persist in my mind : JV_map, Scorpiomidget, casquebleu....
Looks like we again did the same things after MOH because the only games I really played afterwards were WoW and TF2 ! I still play WoW vanilla on a private server.

And I still have all my server-side mods and map files !

Yes I remember you, Saint Mere Eglise must have take so long to make with that detail.

I never created a FPS map before, i started with this video below, i still have all of my Stuff and my Dedicated map making MOHAA PC is in the loft, must be Windows 98 or something.

Bump into 2023.

Came across a bunch of old Mohaa Demos and screenshots and then found this article and thought I'd share.

Oh, I played under the name SilentSniper in those days, initially for EUMC briefly and then MIA, later on The Lucky 13th who became The Skirmish/SKR and in later years on CoD/CoD2 teams like Hybrid/TeamHYB, Insignis, Alan Partridge Army and a few others and transitioned to the name phate/phateuk somewhere during that time.

Here's 2 screenshots from Clanbase Mohaa Objective Realism ladder, taken back in April 2003, just over 20 years ago !

I took this because my clan at the time - MIA - the Bravo Squad had just overtaken the Alpha squad on the Clanbase Objective Realism Ladder.

Next screenshot is from 10 day's later, 16th April 2003 when MIA Alpha Squad went top after beating SBV:

Demos:

J1mb0 Reloaded (SBV clan) - https://www.dropbox.com/s/d5fu4ifm3bosrjv/J1mb0_ReLoAd3D!.avi?dl=0
Luz Mauser - MIA - *Luz* - this was a mate of mine from school at the time who along with a player called Dofty were largely responsible for the MIA-A becoming top of CB: https://www.dropbox.com/s/8w8rt1maj2zw98y/LuzMauser.avi?dl=0

And for bonus: This was a early machinima video put together by a lad called Jason for a website he setup called www.moh-films.com. This was one our first productions called Infiltration of the Eagles Nest - I was one of the cameramen and a bunch of familiar names to some will be in the credits at the end. Proper jank and cheesy now but at the time everyone thought this was cool hehe.

ITEN (moh-films.com) - https://www.dropbox.com/s/5223kmlyoffiks3/ITEN_Final.wmv?dl=0

Hopefully someone remembers some of these and finds these bits interesting. If anyone remembers me or any of the guys mentioned hit me up on [email protected], would be great to chat to some old veterans.

@phateuk

I have quite a few screenies of SBV matches against MIA. <SBV>Bubo. Awesome times. Ah the memories eh..... :)

Such an iconic game, followed closely by the first couple of CoDs. I still play CoD now, but miss the purity of the old stuff before it became mainstream.

@Bubo haha classic! Thanks for sharing these. You still in touch with any of the SBV guys?

No unfortunately, as I remember once SBV got to the top of Clanbase Objective Realism the clan started to lose its mojo and drift apart over a period of months. As with most things in life keeping the motivation to stay at the top once you've got there is the hardest thing to do. I do still remember those times very fondly though. In those days being in a successful clan was something to be proud of and wouldn't look out of place on your CV ;)

I was in ={I|S|A}= as Ferrari-F430. Played along side Legendary modder Team5ooo who made the beast No Cross wall on all Mohaa Sniper Maps.As still used by Clans like ST1 Nox, BSO and SG. And he's still around tot his day. Had the pleasure to meet him this summer at a Fragout our Clan hold each year in Wales :)
Hey Ferrari ! I think I remember you. My bro Bennyboy_SAS and I were big lovers of mohaas, St1-nox. Malta and SG flughaffen ,Stadt.. team5000 and I spent a lot of time on the submarine level, him on the high stair well dancing and me behind a wall, (if you kno you kno) his bro Cannibus was very good in the tower in Malta! good times , we spent a lot of time on teamspeak with team5000 and he came with his best m8 vasilli zietsief to our house in Northern Ireland. Also played with Silent Bullet, Figment, snakeman and others I wish I could remember. Modded some amazing maps and scopes that no longer exist that I can find, I dream one day they bring out a game with access to such an amazing community and fun this game had. No cross was unreal, freeze tag drove me crazy! Loved reading through everybody's posts.

This is like reading myself and how I started FPS games.... Delta Force 2 was literally my first competitive game before MOHAA

I started FH lol... the name was derived from my obsession with the first Metal Gear Solid. Hitman and I went to school together and are still friends!

Often saw a guy with a Thompson sub machine gun in a small circle going at a guy with a bolt action sniper. Surprisingly it was usually 50/50 who be obliterated first.

Mr Club was username I was that good at clubbing people I'd get guys with shotguns leg it when I ran at them if they where not good players.

Once finished 3rd simply from clubbing didn't fire a single shot.
