Which Music Player are you using?

Apologies for the late reply. I am using the same extension as you, it's pretty neat. I haven't tried any others yet as I couldn't find any I really needed to be honest. I also gave the 0.3 nightly build but that wasn't compatible with the extensions and as you and marc2003 found out, is buggy as hell. :p

It certainly has potential but i'm going to stick with the 0.25 release for the time being and perhaps use Winamp for my iPod or something.

Like someone else on here said, it certainly does bare many similarities to musikCube, which is an amazing player. I may have to go back to musikCube if I end up having to use Winamp for my ipod as that's what I originally had.

You using another player now?

EDIT: One thing I forgot to mention was that I never experienced any of these bugs with missing albums and incorrect tags.

Perhaps as a past foobar user it had converted all my tags to a different format?
Yeah back to Winamp for the moment.

It is possible that there are inconsistencies with my MP3 tags. Some might be ID1 and some might be ID3. Will have to check them out some time.

windows media player on windows xp
on linux used to use vlc but it didnt work with some sound module i had to load to use my usb headset, so i just use the default ubuntu media player with the extra codec packages for all media files :p

I use Winamp 5 for music, mainly because I've been using it since it came out and secondly because I can control it using my mobile phone via bluetooth :D

I also have a directory structure layout for music in categories - so I have folders called Anime/Rap/RnB/Other etc etc and put all songs/albums in artist order in there and just link them up in a similar fashion in Winamp library. Works a treat and is fast too.

Just make sure winamp is the active window then fire up your sony ericsson phone (you will need the winamp HID file to install on the phone first) and then just play away using the phone!

The HID is here

Got a Motorola. :o

And where can I get the HID file from?

Just send it over to the phone via bluetooth :p the phone will install it automagically!

Know where your media is.
Right click it, open with...
Select foobar 2000
Done

Or if foobar is your default mp, just double click your media, done.

What's there to learn  ?

I was meaning the modding side of things, I've used it as it comes, and it's quite ugly. :)
