Which newspaper?

cant remember the last time i bought a paper. when i was in london commuting i would read the freebies. more to pass the time than anything else. always get my news from various websites

None - all papers are opinion / lobbying / click bait / rubbish

Use BBC as least opinionated source with occasional looks at specific articles on newspaper sites but with a pinch of salt

Also tyt and daily show on youtube for us news

None.

Maybe read the Daily Post or Evening Leader (North Wales) while I'm at home as my parents will get it but otherwise just use the internet.

Metro or free paper.

Haven't bought a paper for.... Cant remember. Used to cost 25p... that long.

You know The Metro is the free version of the Daily Mail right?:p

I generally read the Guardian and BBC every day. The guardian mostly because it has a good free app...

the guardian has a few good columnists and a good dating site

but generally they're just another daily mail albeit taking the opposite political view - plenty of dubious presentations of statistics, sensationalists stories, selective presentations of facts... and just like the daily fail - they've got a comments section full of the usual amusement

Have BBC, Telegraph, Guardian and Independent tabbed on Chrome. If I was to buy a newspaper I'd more than likely buy the Independent.

Independent every Saturday for a weekly catch up of any major events. In the past it's been the The Times and the The Observer but I've been on the indie for 20 odd years now.

The magazines with it are intelligently written and cover a good and varied range of things that I simply wouldn't bother to look up/look at online at all. I enjoy the recommended tv programs for the week ahead, the film and album reviews and anything art / travel related in them. The sport section's decent and a surprisingly good read too.

I like my sit down on a Saturday morning with the paper.

Totally agree there. A lot of the stories really frustrate me. The comments are gold though. How people are so disattached from society, while being so hypocritical about the way they live their life is amazing.

I love the fact most of the stories are aimed at upper middle class types who go on expensive holidays and buy expensive tat, but pretend they are down with the poor...

It's one of the few papers with a free app though and I don't have Internet for much of my journey into work.

Yet I also agree internet is nest place for media, papers just print such rubbish sometimes, Id gladly buy a paper that only had positive stories on it, their just full of horror stories

Good God !!!!!!!!!

Are there actually people out there who read Sun and Star.

If I ever come across one I scoop it up and cut it into 8" squares and put them on a spike in bog.:rolleyes:

I don't read physical newspapers. But i browse BBC, Guardian, Telegraph and will read articles on others, even undesirables as i know how to read them.
It's best to have multiple sources so you can piece it together in multiple ways.
