its working at usb 2.1 speed. tried different ports too inc the asmedia mobo controller ports and same issue. i see demanded current is different on the 2 machines. i got other icybox and orico 2.5 sata to usb enclosures that work at full usb 3 speeds so not sure whats going on here.
