Which site have you had the best experience with when Pre Ordering?

Ive found with ShopTo its all fine until you have to contact them - truly poor customer service and a spate of missing items on the trot just made me stop using them as frequently. Was quite happy to pay their less competitive prices as they did use to get stuff to me early.

Still use them now, but looking at my history I havent used them for pre-orders for ages - only have one currently with them (my infamous Last Guardian :p) as Ive moved all the rest to cheaper competitors that currently provide a similar pre-order service...

I think I have only had 1 or 2 exceptions in 30 or so orders. This is with Royal Mail 1st class (or 1st class recorded).

Turns out I have it!
The Postie left it with the caretaker for my building, even though it wasn't a signed for item.
 
Tesco Entertainment for me, no matter what pre-order game or blu-ray I order, they come a day or two (even three) before release day.

My BF3 order arrived yesterday even though I received the despatch e-mail early hours Wednesday.
 
I know I have already posted in this thread but it's worth noting that shopto guarantee to have your pre-order delivered on release day (at the latest) or they credit you with £3.

Shopto have a 100% record for getting pre-orders to me on time.

You have to deliver it signed for to get that though, which is useless to the majority of full-time employed people.
 
Game, don't know if I've been lucky but I've never had a problem with them. Sometimes get mine a day early or on the day, never after the release day.
 
used to use game and never had a problem with preorders always turning up mostly on release day or a day before but that was rare , but i was put off recently when i ordered fifa 12 after it had been released with free delivery which is supposedly 2 business days, i waited a good 6 days after they had posted it.

So ive had a change and gone with shopto which seem very good with preorders so far getting BF3 a day early
 
amazon myself, there not the best. but i do sometimes get games early. never had a pre-order arrive after release day.

GTA4 i had nearly 2 weeks before release day off them, latest one i could remember lol
