Earl Grey's alright.

We drink whole milk so whole but really I don't care. I'm not fussy with tea. As long as it's wet and warm it'll do.

Ah you must be one of the dozen people who go out of their way to have an Earl Grey tea! I always wondered where you lot hid :p
Na everywhere has Earl Grey these days, especially after the last establishment not offering it sadly burned to the ground. So sad.... :p

Really though Grey is available everywhere in my experience. It is the finest of fine teas especially that twist of bergamot, mmm.

Oh an by the way, it has to be Cravendale whole milk because they actually have decent bottles. The cheap supermarket bottles are rank for the large sizes. You end up spilling some milk every time when newly opened because the neck to lip ratio is all wrong. Someone over there needs a slap.

Jean-Luc Picard drinks Early Grey, if its good for Jean-Luc it's good for me.

Fun fact! Patrick Stewart when they first started filming Next Gen was told to order a tea from the replicator so he chose Lapsang Souchong (also one of my favs) but the director/producers said that was too "out there" and nobody would relate to it so he went with Earl Grey instead which is more fitting.

.

I've never got along with Earl Grey as it just reminds me of potpourri for some reason!

I agree on the Cravendale. If only because it also lasts so long (not an issue here as we go through milk very fast)

Twinings Earl Grey is one of the strongest in the fragrance you liken to potpourri! I would avoid that if you do want to try Earl Grey again and instead buy the Booths brand from Morrisons (really good, really cheap too) or Mortiers/Newby Earl Grey off Amazon. These are my go-to orders when I need a restock now.

I only have one other tea left in the cupboard and that's Russian Caravan loose leaf (smokey like Lapsang) so once that's finished I'll have just Earls lol. This time last year I had about 19 different teas in there

Lapsang Souchong is awesome.

Seems like the thread to ask it in. Has anyone ever tried the Yorkshire Tea Malty Biscuit Brew? Always tempting but never went for it

Yes and their Jammy Toast version too. The Jammy one is actually alright but the biscuit one is a total con in that it tricks your brain into thinking biscuits have been dunked but your belly says otherwise. Stick with regular Yorkshire Gold and dunk biscuits properly you fools.

To be fair it is rather unacceptable to be ticked in such a way.

Sometimes working harder is indeed better than working smarter
