which way do the amber case fans go in eclipse

thankyou,I thought it was ,but i have a big problem

the fixing holes in the power supply, the 2 bottom ones seem ok but the top ones are infront of boards and stuff, the top left is about an inch in from the left and if i screwed into that i would go right into a circuit board and the right hand side top one which is about 1/2 an inch down from top is also facing some sort ofconnector???????????

wtf is this all about?

Do you have the PSU the right way up?

It goes in one way, and is there a PSU bracket, the first things to check for.

Well i'll be around today aswell, so just post if you need any help mate.
I know how reassuring it is when there is people who you can ask for help or advice.
Whats the problem? :p
I dare say Yewen is lurking around here somewhere aswell, being in Case Central is like entering his lair.

Edit: See I spoke to soon he posted while I was typing mine out lol.

Oi! :p

theres a place to sit the psu on and the holes line up its just those 2 top holes look dangerously near components inside the psu ,the right hand side one is near a black rubber lookin thing? is that normal?
god this is stressfull :D

A psu mounts to holes drilled in the PSU.

You place it up, and it lines up to 4 screw holes.

If you use MSN may be easier if you added me :p

If there is screw holes in it, it may look like it will touch something inside, but it will not, because if it would or could, they would not be there in the first place.

now is it ok to try the power supply? em where do i connect the fans to,one of the leads from the psu?
also do i push all the leads through the oblong cutout just behind the psu?
thanks guys

Silly question but, do you have your Motherboard yet?
Because thats where the fans will connect to, need to look in your manual to find out which ones are which, though you can usually tell from looking at the board.

Edit: I just remembered, they can also be connected directly to the power supply I think, as thats what I have in my current case.

no I dont have the mobo yet,.

so the leads from the fans dont connect to the psu leads then hmm?

so can I still turn the psu on to see if its working? does the psu fan go round without the mobo?
cheers :)
