which way do the amber case fans go in eclipse

Leave it be now, or you will have to manully short the PSU to make it turn on and I do not trust myself telling you how to do that :)

Just wait for the motherboard to come along, MUCH easier.

by the way i changed my mind at last minute and went for the Asus A8R32-MVP Deluxe Crossfire cuz i decided to go for the 1900xtx and after due consideration thought it better to match ati with ati,do you agree ?
thankyou

It doesnt really matter, I would have gone for NF4 chipset, just because of there longer life, more refined drivers and a larger user base to turn to if something goes wrong.

But there shouldnt be any issues.

/Just noticed youve been registered longer than me :D

I am going with the X1900XTX but orginally was going with a 7900GT.
However I am going to use the A8N32-SLi Deluxe or the Premium as I think there just a little better due to the nForce4 chipset and also more established.

Edit: YEWEN GOT THERE BEFORE ME AGAIN AND SAID THE SAME THING! :p

lol Yewen ,by the way its not too late to change my order but a guy on asus independent said that he had built a few pc's with both types of setups and that the ati cards with nforce mobos had a few issus.hang on let me cut and paste his coment

i have systems here with very nice ATI cards in them ... but this mobo as in the A8N series dosent particually like or work too well with ATI video cards .

also taken from driver heaven review

Looking back at our time with the Asus A8R32-MVP Deluxe it really has been a mixed bag. Initially everything seemed to be running well and we had a great feeling about the board. Then on closer inspection we found numerous issues (for those skipping sections please read the setup page). It is fair to say by the end of the first week the review was in the balance after spending more time reporting issue after issue than actually using the board! That said, Asus did come good with a new bios which fixed all issues other than the LAN bug (on which we are awaiting a fresh board to test with).

High points for the A8R32-MVP are obviously that it performs as well as the fastest Nforce boards currently available and in some areas outperforms them. The icing on the cake is the overclockability, this board is one of the best we have had in our test labs.

Asus continue their exceptional bundle contents with this model and you’ll have enough cables to last you several system changes. It was also good to see that the fold up lid featured a decent level of product information to aid you in your purchase. An additional benefit over other boards on the market is that this board is also fanless and therefore ideal for keeping system noise to a minimum. We all like that, right?

Had Asus not came through with a new bios the conclusion on this product would have been very different to the one you are reading today, however with bios 0311 we are confident in awarding the A8R32-MVP deluxe the Driver Heaven Heavenly Hardware Gold Award. If you are a socket 939 enthusiast this board deserves to be on your shortlist.

Hmm sounds interesting actually.
We I do see what you mean, I did also think of using an ATI chipset with an ATI card, but I just liked the look of the other boards aswell, not many people have said much about that board, but maybe I have not been looking hard enough, I would certainly be interested to know more about it compared to the nForce4 chipsets.

yes I agree and i had ordered the premium too but decided to take the chance with the ati chipset baord and then after reading the review and the other guys view of not a good mactch nforce and ati(ie) i felt better :D

Noobie from thoose comments.

The review says the Bios makes it better, and that review was written on release day.

My NF4 Gigabyte K8N pro sli didnt support x2 processors, a week later it did with no issues.

Maybe that board has issues, I have only used the normal premium heatpiped version, but they would make sure it was compatable with ATI cards, guaranteed, 100%.

There wont be issues whichever way you go, just the Nvidia userbase is in its 4th generation, more mature and easier to get support for.

Support for me if something went wrong is a huge draw, and the NF4 is more popular at the moment.

I just checked out the guy who said he doesnt think the ATI cards and an8 boards are a good match and it says

Occupation: Pc tech / system builder / network tech

Now I know I could put that but ive read a lot of his posts and he seems genuine and knowledgable but Im open to all help ;)

I guess go with what you feel comfortable with matey, you will be fine with whatever board you decide to use out of the ones mentioned, its up to you man, don't worry about it to much.
The Premium does have an nice layout though :p
