I read fine - your employer has the shop, he pays the bills, advertises the shop and the customer came into his shop - its also a nonsense to suggest the company couldnt do the job but you could, if you explained to your owner " ive got a job here, I can get the part I need from here and we can make £50, or they will go elsewhere and we wont get anything" - there is no way in hell that your owner being the penny pincher he obviously is is going to turn away a profit job. You are supplementing your poor income by doing homers, nothing wrong with that but dont make out that you are providing some humanitarian service or that its not morally wrong, it is.

You can rationalise what you do by ripping off your owner in any way you want, but you still are doing that, the guy obviously knows that by collecting from home you are working on the side and has taken that as a reason to rip you off, take it on the chin.

I have had that EXACT conversation with the owner, He simply said NO, he wants to use parts HE SUPPLIES ONLY.
i have had the same words saying look you can earn £** here and he simply said NO as didn't want the headache of it coming back as faulty and not knowing where it came from.

SO get off your high horse mate, because you don't know me from adam and you dont know how the owner operates.

I boost my income myself by doing my own personal repairs that i still get through my OWN adverts, is that a crime? NO. is it Wrong? NO. As i was doing this well before this shop opened in this town.

i DONT tell customers that they can have it fixed for cheaper if they call me later, That is WRONG.
If the owner tells me that they cannot get a part, or wont for a specific device, yet i can i will inform them of a number they can call to have it fixed in the local area. Most of the time its a number for a shop down the road who then calls me to fix it for them.

No need to be so aggressive.

I have an idea how the owner operates from the posts you have made about him. It is wrong to take a customer from your employer though, no matter what way you choose to paint it.

I'm trying to defend myself mate that's all. I don't mean to sound aggressive at all. Sorry.

I don't actively snipe customers, The owner is supposed to pay me 15% of the profits so its in my best interest to get the money flowing.

But if a customer has been informed that the shop cannot help, but i know of someone who can, or i can then i will do what i can to help where the shop couldn't. Is that so bad?

Already had this. I do fill in all the required forms and stuff, But my personal repairs don't go anywhere close to warrant the extra tax, It would if my bloody employer had been telling the gov that i have been here but he hasn't. But that's an issue he is dealing with now.

Its certainly a conflict of interest - personally if you were being paid well and looked after by the owner then it is wrong.

The difference is, from what you have said, you are not, the guy is shady, probably not paying your contributions for tax and national insurance which if its the case then hell mend him, he deserves whatever he gets.
 
Called 101, Its 100% a civil matter as he is refusing to pay for a service.
I have an appointment with a solicitor at 4pm for a free 30 min consultation. will see where this goes.

spraypaint pedo on the OP's house should do the trick, if anything it will help customers find him easier to send their children alone, in school uniforms, to collect their electronic goods from the basement

They are both in the shop but you look down at the girl, making eye contact telling her to come to your house and pick it up, ignoring the parent, who you should be discussing it with?

I gave the girl her iPad as she asked for it. Then explained what i did and the guarantee that comes from myself. My "contract" for the repair was with her.
I delt with her father as the person who was paying for the repair and i also explained the same to him before he exploded.
