Who here owns a Mini?

Not sure about the intercooler, I will no doubt get one but as is I'm not sure if it is limiting the power. Same reason as I'm not sure whether to bother with r56 brakes... I just don't drive it hard for long enough to really justify either.
Not once have I ever had the stock setup fade on me and they're powerful enough to lock up...

I've bought an obd reader and an app that should show me intake temperatures and boost etc in real time and log them so I guess I can see for sure if I need an intercooler.

Annoyingly has a coolant leak/problem

I have a 61 plate Mini Cooper S (Chilli pack) in Graphite. Sad to say the only 'mod' I've done to it is change all the interior lights to LED...

I think they feel slightly quicker because they're lower than standard MCS? My partner loves them.

I think the coupes look better than the hatch.The hatches have become a bit boring especially the newest version.Nothing special out there.

I don't mind the roadster, although only when the roof is down. Otherwise, nope. Coupe is hideous to me.

Also don't like any of their current five door stuff, but I do like the six door clubman.

Just priced it all up, new carriers, calipers, braided lines and drilled grooved discs/yellowstuff pads come to about £450... Biggest cost is the carriers at £140 so I've messaged a load of ebay sellers asking what they want for a pair of used ones.

Been down the avenue of used stuff in the past though and not a huge fan... I'm OK with used carriers but would rather everything else was new

Yeh I was the same, especially considering a lot of people were selling used stuff that was caked in rust for the same price I could get completely refurbished Genuine Mini calipers and used carriers - so I thought what's the point?
