Who here owns a Renaultsport?

The standard 172 Ph2 wheels are utterly terrible. As bad as those current ones are, they are still an improvement on the stock wheels.

However, thats not justification for keeping them! They look like they are 17s too? Moving to 16s will drastically improve the ride and make it look far less McDonalds car park.

Plenty of people change the wheels so there are always lots of stock wheels from other variants floating about. There are also a lot of people who like to stick massive chav wheels like those on, so I bet you could swap to a decent set without it costing you anything.

In summary, get 'em off!

So much hate for my alloys ;) However you've said key words which have made me think again about keeping them...chav and mcdonalds...the association with those two words makes me shudder.

Ok, so alloys aside, does it seem like I got a fair deal? Personally i'm happy and don't feel as though I overpaid considering the work already done in the last 2 years.

Yeah, wheels aside, that's a good deal. All the standard things that are likely to fail and/or cost you money have been done already.

I have one of these Renault sport things

Bit more info on the car. It is a Megane RS 250 (Just in case for some reason you hadn't guessed that!). It is a Lux model, so Dual zone climate, auto lights, auto wipers, cruise, heated seats, bluetooth, and probably some more stuff I can't remember and haven't found yet. It also has the Cup pack fitted, so has an LSD and stiffer chassis, also the black 18" wheels instead of the Anthracite wheels.

Interior isn't too bad on it, seems better than the Mk2 Megane that my parents have:

The car also has another option fitted, which I have been told is quite rare;

That's awesome, would love a 250, how much you pay for it? if you don't mind me asking.

*opens thread*

Alexisonfire has bought more shiny things.

*rolls his eyes in disapproval while secretly being even more jealous*

:D

Did a full service yesterday including spark plugs, love the feeling of driving a freshly serviced car. Next on the list is PMS solid top mounts, an OS driveshaft and some new wishbones to finish off my suspension overhaul.
