As for the price of a widetrack, yes maybe it is a bit expensive. But it has some decent mods done to it (not that they add value but rather help it maintain value IMO) and it is a good example.

I think they were £300 new so probably around £100-£150 now?
TD04 on the 2.5 is running out of puff by 5500 if not earlier to be fair..
They thought the car is cheap enough, go buy your own headunit

I won't over sell it.. I'll just say avoid a non rebuilt 2.5 at all costs
Generally all Subarus seem to be very reliable. In fact the only bad things you really hear are about this 2.5 engine..
Looks tidy enough. Price isn't bad. Description is a bit crap though. Worth a look if it's local.

You can turn it all the way down, but then you could end up with a slow car.
You currently don't know what it is doing in terms of ECU map etc. Where are you located?
Does the car have a boost gauge fitted?
To take the MBC off normally requires replacing the pipework that was taken out to begin with and that pipework normally has a restrictor pill in one of the pipes.
Get some pics of the engine bay, location of the MBC, and all the associated pipework. Gives us something to look at and advise for.
