Insurance renewal shot up by £100 because of the power increase. Rang me up today to say there is another insurer who will undercut that price. They have undercut it by £120. Not bad.

£150 for 5 track days as well with this insurer. (No clue who it is like, through greenlight though)

Yup i have been with them for 7-8years with a 1 year break when i had the BMW as they would not insure it. Soon went back once i had the scoob.

I haven't bothered to shop around, no point.

Mrs just text me saying the paints have arrived. Hopefully finish early enough today so I can get it painted back up.

Meridian black pearl 32J is what it is (well I hope it is now)

Went at the rust with a grinder, filled it, sanded it down the other day. If it ends up looking like toss I'll just take it to the pro's and if it turns out a good, well.....jobs a good'n. We'll see.

Anyway, sprayed the car up. left side has gone perfect but im gunna have to give the right hand side a sand down again and redo it because i touched the paint thinking it would be dry and it wasn't at all.

If it ever comes through again it going to paintshop and they can deal with it

Obsidian black and Obsidian black pearl comes under 32J.

Dunno why I have been calling it maridian.

Edit: Google mainly shows Obsidian black pearl under the 32J code.

Think I'll stick to banging boilers on walls.

Doesn't look great lol.

Edit. Wet sanded it and it is actually matching up really well. Where I have gone wrong (I am guessing) is that I haven't made the area wider after priming so there is a 1/4 of a mm line of primer around the edge of the area that has been painted.
