Got a bit of rust coming from under the spoiler:
Reckon if i pulled the spoiler off i will be greeting with a load of it? This is why i asked about the colour code the other week. I reckon it will be hard matching the paint up if i get the boot lid resprayed, what do you think?
Rest is looking spot on though to say it hasn't had a wash since forever and i have only snow foamed and rinsed it off. Bilt Hamber really is awesome stuff.

Take the spoiler off, clean it up, get new spoiler gaskets. Should be fine. Unless of course it has been bodged on there previously...
Water is making it look worse than it is in the photo. Might have a crack at it tomorrow if i get the time.
Yeah, not too bother about the cost, more about how well they could match it up if i do get the boot lid resprayed.

My old blob WRX was black with the gold flecks - had the boot resprayed and the boot lock smoothed. I loved the smoothed boot lid and gold fleck on a sunny day 
From what i have gathered the paint on my car is rare as hens teeth, so doubt ill find one in the same colour. There is a good one on ebay for £50 but it is the normal black, which is a shame as i would have just grabbed it for that price.
Ill take it off tomorrow and see what is under there an then go from there.

Kosta, do you mean use actual subaru spoiler gaskets or just a makeshift one? Can't find any on google. Ill just use CT1 silicon, it wont even needed to be bolted down with that stuff lol.

yeah i didnt actually take any pics at the scene. i was trying to stop people coming round the corner and smashing into it
The rust under the spoiler is very normal on all cars with spoiler that have a part flush with the boot lid. water gets trapped in there not matter what
that should give you an extra 5hp as well.
