Who here owns a Subaru?

Now get it lowered Phil! Good choice of colour for sure.

Cold start could also be a crank sensor issue, another way the crank sensor shows up is if you're travelling at over 100 *ahem km...* for a prolonged period, sometimes you get the CEL.

I changed mine and rubbish starts and high speed CEL went away. It's under the alternator.

I think they were BR.

They were alright, but if I were to do coilovers again I'd ensure I bought something that used rubber top mounts. They would keep the compliance to a degree.

ASTs used to use the stock top mounts I believe, so not as adjustable as some, but combined with Whiteline top mounts they'd be ideal IMO.

I'd probably go Bilstein now..

I wouldn't call them serious junk, I certainly had no issues with mine and they were not brand new when I got them either.

I got good use out of them on track and on the road, their solid top mounts would likely have been the only thing I'd have changed.

FYI RaceDynamix does ECUTEK too these days.

Injectors wise, providing your fuel pump can keep up, a fuel pressor regulator with increased fuel pressure will allow the 550s (actually more like 525s) to support 400bhp.

Don't keep that figure in mind though. Let's do the Dyno day, see what you get and go from there.

Rybo, it really isn't as simple as just a turbo though. You need to calculate the cost of what you can and can't fit/do yourself.

It may sound like £500 for a 2nd hand turbo and a few other things, but it can soon add up, especially if paying someone else to do it.

After they noticed who you were? Who am ya?

You will need a bigger pump yes. FPR is good for getting more flow from the existing injectors, only reason I mentioned it. They'll be telling you to go larger injectors but I've seen many a car exceed 360bhp on the standard injectors with just a fuel pump.

They'll be giving you the options as a package, which is a "safer" sale for them.

What's the cost breakdown then?
