Who here owns a Subaru?

So had Tim Farmer round today to fit things onto my car, when he took the Turbo off, he noticed the fins on the intake were shredded:( Good news is I have just bought a replacement VF35 off someone from Scoobynet for £280inc delivery, covered 56k miles which isn't bad and will get that sorted next week.

Bit of a ballache finding this stuff out, but glad I am getting these parts fitted otherwise would have never known until it was too late!

There's a P1 for sale near me at the moment.
It's completely unmodified.

I keep walking past it and the amount of want is getting almost unbearable.

Buy it!

Update with my car, replacement VF35 arrived yesterday, it's getting fitted on Saturday morning, everything bar the Harvey decat downpipe so I can get it MOT'd, then it will get fitted and the Blitz centre section modified to be a full 3" throughout.

Also I bought two passenger side doors for £25 each, both unmarked and in black so will bolt straight on to replace the vandalised doors:D

Also a nice little side profile shot

My Subaru Hatch.Had it nearly two years now, standard apart from a K&N pannel filter.
Tax is a ball ache, but insurance was only £387 this year for me and the wife.
Has only done just over 6000 miles since new and does about 28mpg on average.

Hi! It is funny and I am not 100% sure, but I believe I am buying your ex subaru impreza wrx :) I have spotted this car by searching on google and recognized beginning of number plate :P So if your reg ends with "X" - this is incredible spot on :). Reason I am writing - I would like to ask you about car history (I would appreciate honest answer, as dealer will never tell me the truth). Does car had any accident / problems with engine, body? Any modifications? Many thanks in advance! Regards, Tom

It was outside again today, owner was giving it a bit of a clean.
Found out why it's been on sale for quite a while. He wants 23K for it. That's not that far off a 22B. Ouch. To be fair, it is completely original, very low mileage at about 22,500, full Subaru dealer history and is a single owner car.

I think I'd rather go with an import Type R V5/6 Limited and have a sizeable pot left over. I'd still want a standard one though.

Hmmm. Need to think.

For that price it is a bit of an ask. Considering that 10k would get you a VERY decent 2005 STi, thats where my money would go (well it did, twice:p)

£10k would get you a very decent P1. Last price I saw on them was £8k, and that was a few years ago. The owner is really a bit silly. Unlike 22Bs, they are not a collector's item. And even 22Bs are more sensible money now than a decade ago.

Quick glance through the last few pages and you'd think the only car subaru made was the one with the awful interior (impreza). :P

Impreza wagon was too much of a target for theives so i opted for the 3.0R spec b legacy and am very happy with it. :)

Not exactly economical with my urban driving yielding 24mpg. And nearer 17 if i'm enjoying myself. But that was the one trade off when taking all of the positives into the equation. Being a dog owner i had to opt for a wagon.

But my favourite impreza has to be the MY04. Just something about how it looks. Someone came into work with the RB320 and i loved that too but i prefer the 04 to the 05 style..

Picked my car up today and it feels brand new and not even been remapped yet!

Had the Cosworth filter, Walbro fuel pump, new VF35, Harvey up-pipe and ported manifold fitted and it runs so much smoother, pulls harder and sounds much deeper than before. The blowing manifold and damaged vf35 certainly made the car feel like it was running with zero boost.

Getting it MOT'd tomorrow and then will get the downpipe fitted first week of July then remapped straight after!

Well I took out EyeDot from this very forum a few nigths ago in my car. He was quite impressed with the pull and more importantly the handling. I was gunning it around every roundabout I could find.

He does have a very twitchy Ferrari F40 though ;)
