Who here owns a Subaru?

I'd still want it even with a bucket seat as under braking the seat won't help at all, in fact it is with a bucket seat that it works its best.

Going to be changing my rear discs myself, am I right in thinking there are just two bolts to be undone behind the caliper and it just comes off, then slide the disc off?

Needs your reaction face from you being told you manage the 1/4 at over 110 somewhere

That's for my next compilation video ;)

Pretty much.. be careful as the bolts can be threaded easily on the Brembos. Don't forget the handbrake is a drum as well so may need some budging to get off the rear disc.

Yeah i've heard they can be threaded easily. I was surprised how easy it seems to change the pads, great system they have there.

Finally found time to get my car serviced, got it done at Subaru Woodford for £258 for standard fluids change.

Good stuff.

How you progressing with the damage?

Not had time to sort it yet, so busy with traveling it's difficult to get stuff organised. I think I need a PA:o

On the To Do list:

Servicing - Done
Rear brake discs to fit
Brake pads to replace
MOT next week

Header to be ported and fitted
Up pipe to be fitted

Centre pipe to be modified to full 3"
Downpipe to be fitted to new centre section

Remap

Hopefully have all that done within the next month

Awesome. Get it done :D

I've got a list of things to do on mine as well.. it never ends! :o

It's always non stop:p

Good thing is i've got Tim Farmer doing a lot of the work at once now, hes going to fit the header/up-pipe/fuel pump and also weld the 3" onto the end of my Blitz centre. So all that should be done within a day, and then I just need to remap!

Oh then i'll fit the Zunsport grille and side skirt extensions and get the damage repaired:p

Got my new rear discs today from Godspeed

I have a real soft spot for Subaru's and I race against a lot of Impreza's, of varying ages and state of tune. One thing they all seem to have in common is they spend more time with their bonnets open fixing minor problems than they do on the track.
