Who is going down from the Premier League ?

Well today is the big day. As a Newcaslte fan I've been somewhat disconnected this season. Partly out of apathy for what's happening at the club and partly due to more important things going on in my life at the moment.

It's with a feeling of inevitability that we find ourselves fighting for our place on the final day of the season and I can't say I'm particularly optimistic.

I can see Hull getting a result today and I just don't think we're up to it.

Last time we went down it was the best thing for us (in the short term) it got rid of the chaff and galvanised the remaining players. However, this time I'm not so sure we've got the squad to bounce straight back up again, especially not with the dominance we showed in the Championship last time.

As with everything at the moment, I'm going to be too busy to concentration much on the football today but I'll be keeping half an ear out on the radio with a sense of dread and imminent doom… :)

I just can't shake a sense that Newcastle are destined to go down. They have just looked like the worst team in the league since Christmas.

Newcastle are a abysmal football team managed by a tactically inept; simple, pygmy coach who is considerably out of his depth.

A Steve Bruce managed side has never beaten Manchester United though.

To be honest, they both 'deserve' to go down.

Bye Bye Hull :(

I really hoped it would be Newcastle just to watch the fans revolt against Ashley.

Gutted we are going down, but that's life eh.

Local reporters are saying on twitter that Bruce has come out of a meeting with Allam and he will be staying on as manager in the Championship. He has the backing of the board and won't be resigning.

Other news, the board as still going to push forward with the name change! Gah! Enough already!

I was wrong. I'm gutted for Hull as well and Steve Bruce. I actually think it would have done Newcastle more good as a club to get relegated.
