You don't need it, It's not the full chip, It has cores disabled/cut off, 30% extra performance over a 1080 aint worth an extra £600.

4K will be good when a 4K 144Hz G-Sync option is available, Until then it's 1440P 144Hz+ G-Sync.

I agree, I was looking at 4k and a 60 Hz monitor just doesn't cut it for me.

I couldn't go back to lower than 100Hz, It makes such a difference even to desktop use.

Indeed, Even playing around the 40'ish FPS mark doesn't seem that bad with adaptive sync

I've gone Titan last 2 gens but not sure here. Have some money put by but slightly regretted the Titan X after the 980ti (although I enjoyed the Titan X a lot). Might try to hang it out to see what happens end of year.

Can't justify the cost of it along with a new block & backplate to watercool it.
Plus, I just don't game enough at the moment to warrant spending £1000 on a GPU.

No, i want to see what the fuss with these Titans is about, AMD have not produced anything on that scale for a longtime if ever, i have a Freesync screen sure, but that Titan will max that screen easily i would imagine? i can live without Freesync to try out Nvidia.

I got £2k to spend, been burning a hole in my pocket for a Looooooooong time, been waiting on Zen and Vega, i can take a small hit to try out a TitanX and then sell it later.

Did you order one Si or was I indeed correct?
