Who is looking forward to GTA V

Seen this kind of thing before but it's usually just some kind of bonus or other relatively trivial thing. This actually looks like a reasonable amount of content, and it looks like newcomers won't ever be able to get it.

as already said, its mostly cosmetic stuff. There are gazillions of other weapons, planes and cars you can buy.

If it matters that much to you, go out and create a character on an xbox 360 / PS3. There appears to be no cut off date or minimum playtime requirement. Just need a friend with a copy of the game you can play with for 30 minutes to get you a character created.

GTA:O is going to be insanely unfair however. I'll be bringing my level 105 character from the 360, with RPG, every weapon available from the 360 version, including a tank. And mixing it up with people who've only just bought the game and got nothing. And I won't be the only one. Some people are gonna get stomped and fall out of love with GTA:O very quickly.

Thats the way the cookie crumbles though, if they didn't allow us to transfer our PS3/360 data some people would rage at Rockstar. I'm only level 38 or something and know I'll be up against people with tanks and what not. I'll just go to the army base and steal a jet. :D
 
I was one of the people who walked away from the MP after it was a total train wreck of a launch and very disappointing once you could even get logged on.

What is the current state of GTA:O? Does it have more depth and options now? it was pretty barren and very grindy on release.

I loved the SP but I don't think I would pay console prices for some extra pixels, steam sale in the future on PC probably.

The online issues were sorted a month or so after launch and have been fine ever since. You want to know if it has more depth and options, in what way ?

Rockstar change the missions and add new ones now and again, you can create your own races and deathmatches too if the Rockstar ones are not your kinda thing.

As I said a few posts back, GTA online really works when you are playing with people you know/trust. If you are playing with friends you could all grab a jet and have a dog fight above the Alamo Sea or whatever else your imagination can come up with.
 
The only thing I dislike about GTA: O is the fact that deathmatch lobbies are hard to fill up, Red Dead didn't have this issue and GTA 4 was excellent for DM games.
 
Can be fun when tanks are about as you can do the passive mode tank destroyer trick

Get a friend to cover you in sticky bombs then go into passive mode and sneak up to them and ever get run over or friend detonates sticky bombs and bye bye tank
