Can't believe its going to take them probably around 18 months after launch to finally deliver on the promise of hesits. Sure there will be an influx of new players come XB1 and PS4 release, but who is going to be left if they don't add heists until well into 2015 ?

If you link-in your game from past gen can you still restart the main story from fresh?

you can only restart the main story form fresh.

Its only your GTA: online character that carries on.

Folks how does one sign up for the extras which Rockstar have offered to returning players? They say you have to preorder but where from and how do I register for the preorder?

Also, I've read that you can only transfer it once. So if you transfer it from xbox to ps4, if you level up on ps4, and then head back to the Xbox, you won't have the new levels. And you won't be able to transfer it to the PC later on.

The extra content is also next gen exclusive, so the new cars is not available to the xbox or ps3 players.

Isn't it linked to your rockstar games social club account thingy majig? If that's what they used on the consoles i don't know :L

You don't need to pre-order to get the new in-game content. As above it'll likely be linked to your Rockstar account.

Nope, we probably wil get another trailer before/on launch, but I'm not expecting to see any proper gameplay before launch, which is a shame.

I would imagine so. I'm pretty sure it was a code that came with GTA V on 360/PS3 that gave you the extra stuff.

I'm very excited for the update at 5pm today. The video should be good, but here's hoping there's some little surprises in the way of extra content (more of it, I know there is extra content alreadY) and/or features.
