The fact remains that the clause is still there and can be invoked when they wish, therefore the service is not, by definition, unlimited - there must be a quantity of data beyond which they'd invoke that clause, otherwise it wouldn't be there.
Received my BE box this morning (or yesterday morning now) and my line is going to be activated on Friday
It says that i should disconnect from my current provider before i plug my BE box in. Does this mean i just need to ring up AOL on friday and tell them to just turn my internet off or can i just plug the box in and it will automatically switch to BE when they activate the line?
O2, connection has been rock solid, 18.8MBps constant, no throttling or caps. Excellent,
does anyone recommend sky or o2 ?
ive been on aol for years and years and now it keeps disconnecting and connecting slow all the time the tech help are useless they just tell u to restart your router and stuff and cant solve anything im sick to death of it! and im paying £25 a month for it! and they aint bothered to tell me they have reduced it!
so got my migration code and need to move any ideas ? fastest speed i used to connect at was 3.4mb but now its like 1.5 all the time its crap!
If you requested a MAC and used that to switch, you don't need to do anything. On the day, when your connection goes down, connect the Be Box. Depending on how long it takes them, it will sync up after anywhere between a few minutes to a few hours.
Hey!
I'm literally about to complete the move from AOL to BE. Infact, BE is being activated tomorrow at some point, so il let you know what the speeds are like compared to my 2meg AOL service i used to be on![]()
