Yesterday I made myself some beans on toast? or is it Toast and beans?
The beans were from aldi and I have to say they were rotten tbh, all hard like undercooked fresh peas
a 7th of the price of Heinz though, but they went straight in the bin after i'd soaked all the sauce up with the toast.

I do. I can't stand that white chemical gloop that masquerades as 'mayonnaise', so I make my own.

Lidl own brand (not the simple ones) for sure, M&S/Waitrose own brand are good too, can't stand heinz anymore.

Heinz are the benchmark that all are measured against but I'm finding them too sweet these days. The sugar free ones are rancid though.

hellmans always tastes a bit off to me.

heinz is the best of the common uk brands, although none of them are as good as anything on the continent.

as for beans, well i'm an old school heinz man there too, branston in a pinch. sure the supermarket own brands are cheaper but you have to ask yourself- is it really worth it?

Sainsbury’s TTD mayonnaise with Dijon mustard is epic.
