*****Who wants a $1000 INTEL CPU FREE? - COMPETITION TIME!!*****

I think his is better.

There's no doubting printing off your own decals and driving around with the logo on your car is going to be better than photoshopping it onto a Gallardo.

There's also no doubting that the original concept of putting it onto a car was my idea, which makes it a rip off.

Still, it's good, and if I had access to a printer that did car decals I would have done it.

well here goes my entry.......it was a blummin cold, wet morning, and couldnt feel my fingers after 10 minutes lol......

And another successful Intel delivery to the Overclockers UK shop... :D

IMG_7035.JPG

No Photoshop involved! I did it using a couple of sets of Duplo that my daughter got for Xmas, had to use a bit of imagination as they are the Duplo Farm and Stables! My daughter had lots of fun pulling it apart in 2 minutes after me taking about 30 min to set up! :)

I used the logos given as well - the low res ones!!!

Lol, how was that YOUR idea?

Photo-shopping onto a car was your idea, but sticking actual decals onto a car was not.

So in that respect, nobody has ripped off your idea.

The concept of putting the logo on the side of a car was my idea, photoshopping or decals doesn't matter, it wouldn't have mattered if it was drawn on with crayons. It's the execution that is different.

I'm quite sure that had paradigm posted his first, and then a load of lads did the same but photoshopped theirs on, people would be saying they had ripped off his concept.

To be fair it's hardly an ingenious idea is it?

A pretty generic idea which a lot of people are quite likely to think up, imo.

I know mate, I'm not debating the fact it aint the first time in the world someone has put a logo on the side of a car, I'm just saying, you'd think we were all gents in here, and respected the fact that if someone posted something, it was the gentlemenly thing not to copy it.

Like if I had posted a picture after a night on the beers, of me and my mates holding up logos, but in some form or other made it slightly different to destroyers, people would be saying he originally came up with that idea, so it would be unfair to copy its format.

No rules against it, and respect goes to paradigm for putting the time in.

Talking of beers. Pubs calling.

Hello world - Right then. Been lurking for ages, but when a chance like this arises, one must grow a pair and at least give it a shot.
So a shot is what I gave it.

If I was more awesome, I would have animated it, but since that isn't the case, a still picture of Overclockers UK's branding across the screens on Piccadilly Circus must do for now.

There's plenty of little tidbits to rest your eyes on, I genuinely hope you enjoy the concept - I had a blast making it.

Inspired by this story about one of the spots on the legendary screens of Piccadilly Circus being 'up for grabs'.
I figured, if it's exposure you want, it doesn't get much better than this.
