Some mates and I are going to the Hungaroring as well! :cool:

We're flying, roadie sounds like fun though.

Going to do some sightseeing in Budapest as well which I am looking forward to also.

Never been to an F1 before, cant wait!

Remembered I posted here before going away. Tickets were GA tickets, we went to the Parabolika for the actual race on Sunday and managed to blag our way into the grandstand for free practice and qualifying on Sat.

Great weekend, we stayed in Stuttgart so about 1.5hr from the track, but we left in plenty of time to catch the full schedule of events. Have to say, F1 cars look quick on television, but nothing can prepare you for the speed and sound of them in real life. Would consider going again, though would get grandstand tickets next time instead of general admission.
 
Going to the Italian gp this year with GF. She was looking for a holiday in Italy and we've tied it in the with F1 :) Got seats for the grandstand on the inside of the first corner

Ha ditto. I've got seats in 6A Alta Velocita A so sounds like we're close.

Just trying to decide on a hire car now

Nothing anyone said prepared me for that sound yesterday. Its like cocaine.

Ive been to World Cup and premier league football games, and some great concerts/festivals, but as a sporting and entertainment spectacle nothing has ever come close to that. Im still on a massive high, despite Ryanair's best efforts to annoy me flying out of budapest last night.

Already planning the next trip!

Had an email today from Monza to say i'd won paddock passes for Sunday - a very nice surprise. Had to explain to gf what that means but im a very happy chappy :D

We have tickets for there too, need to find out if we get stay in the paddock area for the race
