Makes sense - they'd want to send something that expensive with insured delivery, next day will probably cover that and make the customer happy.

It says on the despatch note that it has been sent via next day delivery.

I got another one on it way to Sheffield John Lewis for pick up tmr after reserving online this morning a 32gb wifi as I got myself a 16gb from purple shop yesterday and find I will need a larger memory so bough a 32gb too. That 2 iPads in 2 days was easy to get

Yeah, but it doesn't say on the email or the tracking website if it is next day or that. Nobody is in the the house tomorrow, would be annoying if I missed it!

Nothing silly about me. It was an option, I selected it, they charged me for it. You'd at least expect the website to prevent you from selecting it during the checkout process if it wasnt valid.

I don't find it distracting at all, I guess a lot of it depends on how far you have the screen away from your face. But even then can't see it being any different from the black

They don't though. Did a live chat about 2 hours ago as the model I want was showing as 1-5 day delivery, the CS chap said they hadnt actually got any stock yet.
