absolutely gorgeous car, sounds sublime.

Seriously though, doesn't look dangerous to me, the car can clearly handle it, at no point is the car even remotely close to it's limits.

A give a  for everyone jumping on the "you drive like a tool" band wagon.

can i have a ride? :D

I dont think its a case of whether the car can handle it. We all know the F430 can take LOTS more abuse than the driver was giving it. I think its more the fact he was driving on the wrong side of the road for most of the video.

Nice car, but it wont be that nice for much longer with driving like that, Keep it to the track.

Drive that close to me and I'll kick your wing mirrors off as I go past you.

trust the essex boy to give it charlie big time, I think the people in the car look like they are having a great time, you know, fun? as in, they can see whats coming round the corners and are only on the opposite side when saftley overtaking slower moving vehicles, or when it is safe to do so lighten up chuck.

I think you need to watch the vid again, many times they are on the wrong side of the road for no reason at all, overtaking cars way too close, generally driving like a boy racer would.

Nice car, bad driver, I stand with the 'do it on the track' people.

 the one myself and plenty of other people have saved to their hard drives

o that video, right some bloke gave it to me on saturday, in a pub and gave his word that I can also have all rights to said video.

think im wasted on this place, try and get you guys somthing to look at whilst your all bored at work and what thanks do i get.. .. .. .. ..

cheers guys much appreciated.

Didn't look all that bad to me. The conditions were dry, the visibility was good and the car was clearly capable. (however the driver should definitely get some proper training as they were only using about 10% of what that car is capable of, especially in the corners)

I wouldn't worry about them, a few people enjoyed it anyway :).

Nice car dude. Ok he was driving like a tool on 2 occasions when he was on the other side of the road round a blind corner... but seriously chill out. I would have been more annoyed if he posted a video of his F430 doing 5mph drive by's listening to the car idle. The overtakes were hardly dangerous, and, if what he is saying is true... he could see what was coming around the corner. Im not saying its right but, it provided me with entertainment and no one was hurt. Seriously need to chill out, everyone has driven like a tool at least once in their lives.

At the risk of being flamed considerably I actually did not think the driving was too bad apart from two major points

1; leave the accelerating untill afrter the national speed limit signs not before please, I don't mind breaking the odd 60 or 70 limit but I would never (condone or actually) break lower limits in built up areas (that is just my personal opinion though)

2; Next time get the right gear before you are half way past the Merc A class you are overtaking

Apart from those two points otherwise the driving is reasonable given the good conditions and the nice open wide corners that you can see a long way through, also given the car and the fact the brakes are superb then I would not have been unhappy at being a passenger in that at those speeds, which I would have said never got much past 80 or maybe 90mph anyway. Had I been driving to be perfectly honest I would have at least been going that quickif not faster.

There is no problem in using both sides of the road when you can see that it is perfectly clear for a distance in which you can easily manouvere, slow down, or even stop in safely, which this driver did all the time (in this video anyway obvoiusly I can't comment on their driving at other times.)

The lines through corners and heel/toe downchanges did however mark him out to be someone who knows what they are doing behind the wheel of a nice car.

As I say these are purely my opinions and please do not flame me to much and no "Think of the Children" As I have a daughter and often do think of her. :D

Blooming heck there was only five replies when I started typing this now look at all *** people above who are saying the same as me, I was trying to be the first Doh :(

not even once was there a blind corner that you could not see clearly through and the car on the wrong side of the road, All the driver was doing was approaching the corner at a wide angle so that he could see further through the corner to see what was coming.
The problem is, is that the camera was not looking where the drivers eyes would have been looking so does not give the correct viewpoint.

Agree with this post, didn't seem overly dangerous to me. The visibility was excellent and it was dry. Shame the driver can't corner for **** :p .

Yes im just jealous.

Yeah, and your quote cracks me up too. Why is that the people with the flashest cars always think they know how to drive.. Just because you afford to buy it (or rent it for the day) doesn't automatically make you a good driver.

This is just an annoying willy waving thread to be honest.

as I said above I reckon he does know what he is doing because of the nice gearchanges and the fact he is NOT giving full bore that shows he is calm and in control, and staying well within his own limits given the conditions and road surroundings

entai might be spot on here

obviously I dont know either way but he noticed the road presence and gear changes so that for one says a lot.

its funny the way jelousy gets in the way or normal thinking, saying people who drive fast cars think they are better is like saying all elise owners are hairdressers! its a completly unfounded comment. chill out guys its just a car, who cares what type it is? aslong as everyone is having fun thats all that matters, and you would take back the driving skills comments if you knew who was driving, actually you wouldnt believe me.

and for the record its NOT mine.

but I might have been in it once, or twice, but obviously not when that vid was taken, and no i didnt take it ;)

guys get off his back, it's clearly obvious even from the video that when he was on the wrong side of the road that he could see nothing was coming :s

To those saying it could've been cornered faster.....I doubt if you'd spent that kinda money on a car and only had it a short amount of time (thus weren't 100% used to it) you would be giving it full whack through corners.

I'm gonna risk saying if this video had been posted by a regular poster, in a more "sedate" car everyone would've just been saying "wow, nice!"

Tom.
