In fact, structurally, metal is the closest to classical music of all genres out there. Not talking about some random 4/4 three bars on detune death metal, but if you pick something like 8-10 minute long piece of proper metal with multiple tempos, synchronous and asynchronous guitar solos, arrhythmic riff accents and rhythm section that's practically in the middle of constant syncopating and paradiddleing drum solo - that stuff requires massive talent to play. If it's even attempted without talent it becomes blatantly obvious in seconds that it's a joke - let Anthrax be a prime example.

There are too many people to be mentioned as bad as most of the stuff that is popular at the moment is auto tune and edited to sound good.

The one artist that really annoys me tho is Cheryl Cole... So pretty but has a voice so flat it's boring and the songs are the same. Would they really even be played on the radio if she didn't have her status? Think not.
