Who's the most talentless artist

Wasn't that his point  Using Anthrax as an example of the talent required that he mentioned above.

No

If it's even attempted without talent it becomes blatantly obvious in seconds that it's a joke - let Anthrax be a prime example.

I actually hold Anthrax up as a prime example of excellent tempo changes during a song.

I'll give you that Anthrax can be (but often decide not to be) good technicians, but it has to be the most soulless, square, clinical, fapping-for-bread-money old school metal band out there. They just couldn't rise to the challenge for their life.
In their genre and time - every band excelled at their thing - you had Metallica going deeper, stronger and higher from album to album throughout entire eighties. Megadeth doing their "Just when I thought I was out... they pull me back in" thing album to album. Slayer - talk about dead serious approach to the art of playing. Even formerly questionable stables, like Panthera, reinventing themselves into crazy levels of craftsmanship.
And then you had Anthrax just going in circles.

To me they were always Limp Bizkit of thrash era.

v0n : Dave how many Anthrax albums have you got on your MP3 player?
Dave : Spreading The Disease, Among The Living, some of State Of Euphoria & some of Persistance Of Time
v0n : How many Metallica, Slayer & Pantera albums have you got on your MP3 player?
Dave : All of them except Metallica's awful S & M
v0n : I've made my point

:)

If anybody's into the UK Grime/Rap scene, JME gets my vote.

The guy is ****. Same bars, same beats, same story. Has no flow, has a monotone voice and blows into the mic.

I disagree, lyrics are part of music, not just the lyrics but the human voice is an instrument of sorts. by using different words it changes the sound of the song. hiphop is a good example of this.

Yes. However he speaks the words against a beat. In addition, the lyrics are crap, as stated earlier.

90% of stuff played on radio 1

edit:

Behave. Detune your guitar, turn the distortion up, you have modern metal music :)

Sorry, what?

You ever listened to the song structures of some of the more complicated bands? At The Gates, Cannibal Corpse, (just two examples, theres plenty more) if you actually took any notice of the structure, its actually really complex and take quite a bit of talent.
