Why are Apple computer products used in TV adds?

Like the go Compare add, they stand on a Apple Pro Keyboard when they enter the screen?

Or i just looked at neutragain bar and it had the Macbook pro on the back of the box?

That's because apple aren't paying them, but they still want a sleek looking item in their advert. They don't want to give their airtime to apple so they hide any logos.

That's pretty much it. The advertising industry use Apples almost explusively, so they're used them; and they simply look far better on screen than any PC. It's the same reasons Apples are computers of choice for TV series and films.

Funniest one is the one about the women dieting where they have chocolate on their desks but keep avoiding it. If you look they dont even have them plugged in!

I have also noticed this in nearly 90% of the latest films. The only exception I can think of was Die Hard 4.0 and firewall were the only ones to NOT contain Macs!

I think it's because it's easier to cover the single (apple) logo thus making the laptop "fit" in the ad with minimum hassle.

It's an ad.. they are probably renting it, or it could be planned product placement.

It really is though generally.

Although I do have an iphone. but I bought a Windows mobile phone and a Nokia smartphone first. And the iphone is better.

For most people other than looks a PC is just as good. They arn't worth the money.
