Why are there so many Turks in N. London?

If someone new joins my group of friends and brings something new or different - a passion for thai food rather than our usual chip shop fare for example - and we all start eating thai food too, does that mean we have 'lost' our old culture?

Why is changing culture bad?

firstly not all changes to our culture is bad - let me make that clear :)

Look at it from another, often overlooked POV...

We as citizens of anyone one nation/district have a right not to have change change forced upon us wouldnt you agree? yet that is exactly what has happened to us.

Change when change is selected and appreciated is great - the situation in this country is far from that. typically the largest degrees of change often via migration of foreign groups and therefore (when those groups are large enough) cultral change are forced (yes forced) on the poorer areas of the country.

Look into the concept of so called "white Flight" and ask yourself why those people chose to move - are they ALL racist? far more likely that they just didnt appreciate what was being forced on them and that is an extremely valid reason imho.

Is it because black people have come to live here, or because you apprently can't seem to move for scumbag chavs and consistently weak sentencing for serious crimes?
