Why are YOU single?

Im single because even though i have 4 women currently interested in me im pursuing the 1 that isnt (yet) ...

Got to hold out for the 1 that sets your heart on fire!

But seeing as you've taken the time to write it I'll respond.

Whilst all that you've written is true, I don't personally blame my situation on shyness because shyness is self-inflicted. At the end of the say, I make a concious decision to talk to or not talk to someone and that's entirely my fault and responsibility.

I can't really stand people who do blame shyness as an inhibiter unless its severe or something. I also acknowledge the point that getting girls is helped by using the shotgun effect and meeting enough of them in the hope that one will stick. I am afraid of the unknown, etc. but really, I guess I could get one if I could be bothered and could shoulder rejection enough times (and got healthier physically).

Really, its not that hard going up to a girl and asking for her number but I just have to be mentally prepared for getting turned down. At the moment with how my life is currently, I don't really care too much and can just push it aside mostly and I rarely bother going out now let alone talk to strangers. But...meh. :p
 
i think im too picky, too lazy, work too much.

Although, i think the main reason is i have high standards, i want a girl who is obviously good looking, educated, knows how the world works, is interested in philosophy, life, travel, etc.. etc..

obviously these type of women are VERY far and few between.

Well i must say i am back from the date with her, well it was a double date in the end, I brought a friend, and she brought a friend.

Well i was quite strange how she said "waterworld" but i understand as she is still 17 she can't get in the pubs and that yet. So we arrived and approached them and she said shall we join the Que, and to my surprise, it seems this place is popular on a Friday night and i could hear loud music and could see inside it looked quite good.

So we were all chatting away about things, things were going well, my mate and her mate getting on well together and i thought we were going well together.

She then says see you in the pool, now i was like OMG as she came out ;)

So we went on a couple of rides, the space bowl is good :) and all was going well, then we went on the 3 slide race thing, at this point, we had lost my friend and her friend, then she drags me into the Jacuzzi (not sure if this is her plan) we talk some more, then she whispers, "you like me" before i say yes she is on top of me ;)

Stayed in there for an hour, before finding her mate any my mate doing the same thing :)

Meeting her again in 2 weeks as she is of on Holiday to see her family over seas.

Things going well, ill be off the single boat in less than 3 weeks
