That's a bit harsh, even in jest. He's entitled to dislike people (cf. the Muslim threads).
Conclusion of thread:
Macs are good.
PC's are good.
The average competent user can use both.
They both can do almost anything whilst both have separate specialities.
"Fanboys" of both exist, and create the 'problems' and arguments.

No because then you would get a slap lol nobody likes that kind of mac user, usually just willy waving and have no idea how to use anything past the finder.
Again its maybe down to opinion but AFAIK the BBC migrated to FCP when it upgraded all its kit to Sony FX-1s/Z1s HiDef cameras. Anyways I'm leaving this thread. Good luck!

Agreed, he's entitled to but he isn't entitled to voice his dislike. What has driven him to voice his dislike for mac users? (including me!)
There is much more important things to worry about in life but mac users? Oh come on!

I say I have complete experience in both platforms but PC is far more rewarding.

To be honest starting a thread aimed at slating the entire user base of a product doesn't give a particularly positive spin on the product you're in support of. Quite ironic really.
Of course this is very sad and it's taking the assumed opinion of an entire group of people based on some comments by a minority in this thread.

The Europe issue led to MS being forced to sell a version of XP without WMP. It sold very, very few copies, no PC manufacturers elected to use it, and the normal version of XP (with WMP) was still sold alongside it.
If you're talking about Dell specifically, I'd say their machines are fairly nice looking, for the price they go for. They're very, very quiet too. PCs aren't the ugly beige, bulky boxes they used to be.

It's not an issue about WMP it's the fact that out of the box WMP doesn't allow you to play DVD's. At least my copy didn't. I bought Nvidia codec thing before I realised I could just download VLC. OT but; PowerDVD is possibly the most horrible piece of software I have ever had the miss fortune to use.
