Why do most people forget the most important part when speccing a new build?

^only because its free and can be speced with a hyper link

BUT in all fairness, specing an OS IN AN INTER FORUM is bitter pointless since they are using the internet, hence saying they have access to it.

I'm a bit late in with this I know as I seem to have missed this thread before, but hyperthetically speaking if someone has just posted a spec. me thread they must surely have access to not only an OS but also another working P.C.

But that's only hypothetically speaking... As by the time the new hardware arrives they might go and destroy their PC in excitement for the new..

OS != Hardware so in my case not part of a hardware spec me

If someone wanted an OS speccing then they would ask.

I personally think that it is up to the person that wants a system specced for them to say whether or not they require an OS, if they don't tell us that they need one then most speccers will just assume that they already have an OS.

This thread fails pretty hard tbh...
 
A good PSU? My last build (2007) had a hyper type-r psu and the first one i got died within the first two days of use, I RMA'd it and got a replacement (along with a surge protected multi plug adapter) which has been working ok till last year when i decided to upgrade.

On a side note the small fan on the back of the PSU was silent when first bought but now it sounds a bit like a jet fighter taking off....crap PSU :(. I now have a corsair HX850W loving the 7 year warranty on this bad boy!

I think it would be easier to just leave out the OS in spec threads, this is general hardware after all! ;)

Lol It's a place full of treasure.

I don't mind saying I HATE Microsoft. It just sucks that Windoze is the only OS that can run games well. So I'm not going to pay them because they force us to buy it to be able to play games.
