Why do people act like this?

I missed this thread first time round. Sorry to hear of your experience.

They probably wouldn't recognise you if they saw you, if you think about it. If they're stupid enough to call you a **** these days, chances are you look the same as 'all of them' to them, they're that thick.

Time will heal and that feeling will go away. Don't let it put you off. I think there's no need to watch your back or anything.

Yeah, you're right. In fact thinking about it, a simple bit of maths says that I won't get any trouble from them:

chance of them being in harrow at same time as me
chance of them seeing me at all
chance of them recognising me
chance of them doing anything about it

Looking at that, the probability is practically nil.

i was watching a film last year, where some girls were making so much noise, and throwing stuff it was unreal, i asked them to stop, and the projectiles were thrown in my direction... to my amazement a adult man stood up, grabbed one by the arm, and threw her in the direction of the door, they then got booted out by staff, awesome

no but she threatened to get her brother down, to which she got her phone out (flip phone) started to dial number, when older lady of staff slammed her phone shut and kicked her and the group out, the man went back to his previous position and finished watchig the film lol

the only way they will learn if it involves a hospital bed with every bone in thier body broken...

It's a cliche, I'm afraid, and probably not realistic. They'll learn to bring more people, or bring weapons.

At the end of the day, either they'll grow up or they won't. Administering a sound beating as a one-off is quite unlikely to achieve any positive result.

I tend to go to the cinema in the evenings to aviod little bums like this and I always go to the more expensive cinema

I'd have been so annoyed had this happened to me, but I'm 6ft 6 and built so don't know if they'd have said 'owt on the way out

I might sound like the internet tough guy or keyboard warrior but I hope all you guys think the same as me;

If I ever got into a position where I had to fight my way out, I would kick them in the balls/scratch and bite them. No rules in street fights I'm afraid.

I don't go out looking for trouble, but I would rather get the upper hand if it was the only way.
