Why do people act like this?

Once again sorry to bump.
Would Vue still have CCTV footage from the incident last week?

you should have reported them to the police.
it might be worth a try to go and ask them.
explain what happened and mention that you are looking for evidence before going to the police.
if they are funny over it, just ask can they view it to verify they have a recording of it.
if they are still been funny over it, mention that you are thinking of going to the local paper over it.
they will not want the bad publicity

I suggested krav in motors and you told me that im wrong and now your suggesting...krav.

A palm strike is a more effective strike than a fist. Didnt they teach you that at KM ?

An elbow is even better but harder to pull off.

And i meant "outside the dojo". He was put up against a wall and punched, there would be no room for a swinging roundkick or whatever tripe they teach you at karate.

Seriously other than your advice about going to krav (which I already suggested in a broader fashion), everyones advice to "run away" will only mean he will get picked on more in the future.

Link? I don't remember that conversation.

You remind me of that disgruntled female student of Bas Rutten, thinking they have a special move that will work no matter what, rather than make the situation a hell of a lot worse.

Just a little update on the thread. I went to Harrow again today to watch Inception. I was with my mates and there were no nobs in the cinema. The film was better than Karate Kid as well, so all in all a much better cinema experience :)

Did you ask them if they had CCTV?

Even if nothing came of it they might have been able to see the offenders faces and allowed you to identify them so they are not allowed in the cinema again.

Sorry for reviving old thread :o

Little update: I haven't actually been back since, though not through fear, but simply because I haven't had the need to go back. However I need to go there today to buy some stuff. I feel like I've been a bit of a pussy, everytime I think about Harrow, and this incident, I get very angry, and a bit scared too :(

But forget all that, I gotta move on in life, so I'm going back today.

'Cool story bro' 'thanks for the info' etc

Harrow, lol, now it all makes sense. Same thing happened to me on more than one occasion when younger in that sh1thole. Go somewhere else would be my recommendation, I avoid that place like the plague.

Wait until you can drive and go to The Empire in high wycombe, you kind of need a car to get there so it excludes most 'undesirables'. Also only £4 on Tuesdays and Thursdays, bonus! Also when you're older than 19/20 things like this don't happen so much, they're bullies that prey on the weak.

bare things happen at cinema's mate, if anyone threw a penny at my little bro they'd be done rid of no matter the size.
Rok'Tar

ps. Im happy nothing serious happened though

That's very cheap, cheers for the heads up :) But it seems a bit of a long way to travel :\

I missed this thread first time round. Sorry to hear of your experience.

They probably wouldn't recognise you if they saw you, if you think about it. If they're stupid enough to call you a **** these days, chances are you look the same as 'all of them' to them, they're that thick.

Time will heal and that feeling will go away. Don't let it put you off. I think there's no need to watch your back or anything.

i was watching a film last year, where some girls were making so much noise, and throwing stuff it was unreal, i asked them to stop, and the projectiles were thrown in my direction... to my amazement a adult man stood up, grabbed one by the arm, and threw her in the direction of the door, they then got booted out by staff, awesome :D
