Why doesn't a third party release these controller?

I prefer the PS pad. The 360 controller fails in comparison to a DS3 for football games imo, the LB & RB buttons just arent accessible enough, it feels clunky, plus the triggers just dont work as well. The 360 pad is great for FPS and car games, but for football games & beat-em-ups I'd easily choose a PS pad. 10-years of playing with the same pad outweighs the ergonomics of the 360 pad.

I don't really mind either controllers. Both seem good to me. Although i would love to move the left analogue stick of the DS3 to the D-pad position and change the 360 d-pad to a DS3 one, the D-pad on the 360 is terrible...imo.

As for the triggers being better on the PS3 bad? Are you on crack!?
I didnt actually say that, i just preference them in pro as the 360 triggers are like accelerators, fanboism a side, you actually prefer playing football games on the 360 pad? LB & RB just arent accessible enough. FPS I can understand.
I didn't like PES anyway, so when it comes to Fifa, yes because I felt the sticks were tighter, particularly the right one and felt the control over tricks was far, far superior.

they both arent perfect. the 360 is better over all, at least in the shape of the pad. but tbh, neither are "omg so much better" in my experience.

I honestly believe that the PS3 pad has the better shoulder buttons, dpad and thumbsticks (my thumbs always slip off the 360 thumbsticks and I sometimes get blisters from them too). I just wish it had a more comfortable shell. I honestly can't believe that Sony still hasn't tried a new controller design even after 10 years.

Because nobody would buy the PS3 controller for the 360 and Sony wouldn't be able to sell anymore Official controllers for the PS3.Personally I would love the bottom one if I get another 360, but I know many, many more people on these forums would like something like the top one for their PS3's.
Surely third party peripheral makers are missing the boat here!!!

Let's not turn this into a discussion about which controller is better, as it's quite clear that it's down to personal preference. But the 360 pad does suck and the DS3 is the greatest controller EVER!
360 pad is pefect, prefer the wired ones as they have a better feel with them being lighter, the PS3 pad is terrible, I can use it but with it being smaller it always hurts my hands after a hour or so playing. I dont know why Sony have never tried to design another one, over a decade of the same controller, I suppose you could say its not broken so dont fix it.
With the LB And RB I can click them with the slightest touch, almost able to hold the LT and press the LB at the same time.
