Why don't UKIP learn ?

And you're a borderline racist, attention-seeking neanderthal who can barely string two words together, let alone an entire and understandable sentence.

Allegedly.

Shots fired :D.

You can support UKIP and not be a racist. Having unchecked immigration isn't good yet when you try to have a conversation about it you're instantly branded a racist.

Stupid enough to marry a fat, middle aged, UKIP supporting foreigner.

Some of what UKIP want to do makes much more sense than BNP even to some one who is a British National with other ethnic origins, the MEP who made the comment sounds like she should be working for the BNP.

Unrelated, but I may have to pick your brain about this one day, as this whole thing is melting my head. I thought getting a HK marriage recognised in Taiwan was tricky enough, but that was mostly her sorting it out - this time I'm responsible for it! :p

As far as I am aware if I moved with my wife to Taiwan after a period of time I could apply to be naturalized and also have Dual Nationality and hold Dual Passports, the wife has not mentioned how hard it is but for her to move here and get it all sorted I think it spanned 3 years? I'll have to ask her, it might be more difficult the tother way round :)

I'm not too concerned about being naturalized here, I have my marriage visa and open work rights, and we only plan to stay a few more years anyway - more the hassle of getting her residence in the UK some time down the line. But then, the rules on that seem to change every 6 months anyway, so who knows what it'll be like when we move back.

(In before filthy immigrants etcetc :p)

Though, as it stands in Taiwan just now (as far as I know), they still have a double standards system where a Taiwanese national can take a second nationality, but a foreign wanting to naturalize has to renounce their previous nationality first. Currently being reviewed, but double standards are nothing new.

That's hardly a ringing endorsement of their policies. That's like saying that Stalin wasn't such a bad guy compared to Genghis Khan.

No, you're right its not, I don't vote anyway. But having better control over immigration rather than just bending over and letting the rest of Europe take us from behind makes sense rather than the out right racism of BNP politics. Also getting out of Europe so we can have more control makes sense... however there will always be benefits lost either way you go.

That blows, was thinking it might be nice down the line to retire there maybe by then they'll have made a decision for Dual (30+ years from now) :D
