Phil W STOP looking at these rubbish cars! Try loads of insurance companies, insurance really isnt as bad as people make out. £4000 buys some half decent cars, not rubbish peugeots.

If Phil buys a 206, he's worse than my gf.

She recently bought a 55 plate 206 1.1 'Sport' on finance, for £6k.



I can just about excuse her because she's a girl, but Phil, you've had the right idea with the 406 Coupe/Glanza etc etc. Get something decent!

Were you not there to educate her? I find that girls are often unaware of how cheap a lot of nice cars are from decent prestige marques. £6000 would have got her into lots of much nicer womens cars, like mx5's, bmw Z3's, etc etc.

Oh well, at least she has a warranty (on a car so cheap to fix you'll never need one )

I was at work but was speaking to her on the phone when she was at the dealer.

I tried my best

She's only 19, so at the end of the day, insurance was the main killer... especially for a Z3!

A 206GTI fails. I could keep up with one on a backroad in a Honda Jazz and the guy was trying. They're crap.

On top of that, it's hardly bigger than a Glanza. Why do you keep talking yourself out of cars for silly reasons?
