Why is it so cold?????

last year the big freeze was where you would expect it to be, very close to december 21st. i remember we had a reasonable amount of snow on the day i was going home from uni for the holidays :mad:. this year the big freeze in february, far later, and therefore far closer to spring, than is usual for a big freeze. thats why everyone is going ZOMG Y U NO WARM?
 
on a more serious note, is this the work of cycle 25?

ok, so we have the heating on, but its still cold walking to lectures. whiteknights lake was totally frozen over and there were a bunch of ducks and geese looking at me as if i owed them an explanation when i walked past

seriously its cold for 3 days in a row and its the end of life as we know it.

Its cold air from Siberia/Northern Continent and a warmer system coming off the Atlantic.

This is how winter should be, always !!!
 
-6c here & I have no heating on just xbox & PC, Got clothes on & dressing gown on though, Not as cold as last year when it was -18c!
 
Sounds like youve not bothered to insulate!

Ours is off at 8pm, and it remains warm until 12. Get a better house.
