They don't have to flee. They choose to. They also choose to travel half the way around the world to the UK ignoring multiple countries on the way. Countries which are equally if not more culpable for the state their home country is in. Ignoring the fact that it's often a civil war that has caused the issues in the first instance.
On top of that I'm not entirely clear what 3 men chilling in a park contributed to the state of Libya or Syria or whatever other 2nd/3rd world dictatorship happens to be the origin of these people.

When you remove a dynastic dictatorship which funded terror across the globe and was itself a source of instability in surrounding countries. But then the country reverts to its tribal loyalties and warlords drive around with their armies grabbing territory here and there.and funding themselves through piracy and people smuggling.
It is strange though that it's mainly young men who seem to run and later cause trouble here.

My comment was directly in reply to somebody who said: "an awful lot of immigrants seem to have mental health problems"

You mean the way we limited our destruction and disruption just to "wealthy people and people in power" in Iraq and Libya and we were careful to improve the lives of the ordinary people?
Gothca - if you were an average impoverished person in those countries you were just collateral damage.

As soon as Gaddafi was taken out extremist Islam was allowed to flourish again and now they are all being shipped over here to destabilize Europe.

The guy has been given life in jail but I am so sad that 3 people died. Is an investigation going to be launched in to the people who let him stay, they have blood on their hands?

If such situation happened in another field people would be facing criminal proceedings. This type of thing is happening way too often.

We're being bombarded its equality , LGBTQ+ law you name it, but when 3 guys get murdered by someone who shouldn't be in this country not a word seems to be said, its sick.

We just need to ban asylum claims altogether, these people bring nothing we need to the UK, they often are terrorist or have children that go on to be terrorist.

Just ban them full stop, deport anyone that enters the UK without permission straight back to their own country, no matter what they claim they are running from. Soon they will stop turning up.

we fought for out rights so everyone else in the world doesnt have to :P

not convinced all asylum seekers are bad, but I don't believe we can afford to offer sympathy and compassion to the world when we have mountains of debt

Asylum claims are a bit pointless as if they're refused most don't get returned anyhow. Like the 100+ migrants who had to be rescued over the weekend by the coastguard very few if any will ever be deported. Which is of course why they keep coming.
