A simple solution for future MMOs would be just to say "it'll launch sometime in the morning of the 31st" then it'd spread out the logins as people realise it's up. It's less dramatic, but if you tell tens of thousands to log in at this very minute it's gonna DDOS anything.

Much less of an effect. If it could be up anywhere from midnight to noon people aren't going to sit at the log in for 12 hours just in case.

anyone knows why the screen is flickering while in window borderless mode? it doesnt do it on fullscreen mode.

It's the 2 step verification. You get an app on your phone that spits random codes out. You get an xp buff and other stuff for enabling it
