SWTOR certainly did have an open beta and wasn't buy to play (still isn't) It's standard for reputable MMOs to have open betas (or very open closed betas) shortly before launch.

Think the warrior is ok, felt like the fastest class to level, just really like one of the unannounced classes.
Added: for all the guild leaders out there make sure you play in groups as you level early on, you need x amount renown to create a guild and you get it by playing in groups.
Added again, not really a issue as PvP BG's even if you go in solo gives a lot of renown

B2P means you pay a fixed fee for the box and after that there is no subscription. GW1, TSW and GW2 are examples of B2P business models (along with plenty of games in other genres obviously)

Indeed, does anyone know if you are invited as a friend do you also get friend codes or is it only the initial invitee that gets them?
Only existing beta testers invited back get a friends key. Not beta invites dont.
Also, your friends are attached to the main key giver, so if anyone breaks NDA, then everyone connected gets banned as well.
