Wildstar New MMO (NCSoft and Carbine Studios)

Indeed, I agree. The accessibility from other MMOs has made people want it easy. I won't get nostalgic over the early WOW days (It's been, gone and not coming back there), but it was more challenging back then and that's why I like it now in WS. Just need to fond some like-minded people

you will find plenty here!

Yeah the telegraph system is great and I've died more times in Wildstar so far than I ever did in GW2, SWTOR and Rift combined.

And before people saying n00b for dying so much, my reactions are not what they were :D

I found at about level 18 the mobs tend to hit harder and moving out of the telegraphs are more important rather than just dpsing them down stood in them. I like how they slowing introduce you into the different types

yes because it's common courtesy for dps to need tank gear , healer on dps gear and vice versa

and at low levels it doesn't too much but not at level 50

If I que for a specific role in a dungeon I always need on the role I am playing and nothing else. Only if no1 wants it I then take the gear, my main role is healing - I need on healing gear. If non of the dps want the item drop I then ask if I can take it.

Might not be a nice thing to do but I wouldn't really complain about it. Most people queue for multiple roles.

At level 50 it's a different matter, especially within a guild. Before that then I think it's entirely fair to kit out both of your specs.

If it happens...it happens I dont really bother at low level dungeons but I would hope it tightens up towards the higher levels. Mind I try to do as much guild runs as possible

I expect I will build up a "regular" group of people who I do the dungeons with so it shouldn't be much of a problem. I don't remember this ever really being a problem early on in WoW, because of the higher difficulty I always grouped with people I knew were competent.

It was once the dungeons became easier and the LFG system was implemented and spread across realms that it became more of an issue.

Does anyone have a spare EU guest pass for the 7-day level 20 trial?

Also, where is a good place to buy the game right now? I hear some people got the game for less than the RRP.

Thanks!

Edit: Seems GMG do it for £28 with a discount code.

Would still appreciate a guest pass. I don't get my NHS bursary until next friday xD

I noticed this too, especially once I got to into Whitevale. Was cruising through some 23-25 quests last night and noticed every now and again I'd get dumped on for a load of damage and have to take evasive action (pop a pot/run away like a girl).
I have found that liberal use of a stun/interupt to get more damage out and pressing the 'R' special abaility every time it's up is a huge help.

I think they do need to introduce the Moment of Opportunity to newer players in the tutorial in some way, in a way that they'll actually pay attention to it, as it's a huge dps boost and practically a must-do in veteran dungeons I hear.

We'll I'm not in The Immortals but let me know your ID and I can add you if you want, maybe make some attempts over the weekend?
