I apologise for my pathetic attempt at getting into this game but I hope you all enjoy it and the game does well.
 
Finished my 1st dungeon yesterday, found a PUG that was able to stomach multiple wipes and finally clear Stormtalon's Lair.
Finally boss had plenty of sphincter moments, for the last 10%, it was only me (DPS) and the healer alive.

Can't believe how tough it was for the 1st dungeon, it was like Ragefire Chasm on crack! No boss was simple tank and spank. But damn it was fun.

I want to tank though, I can't find any simple guides for new players, they're all for level 50's.
As a Warrior, what stats should I prioritise. Grit, Insight, Tech?

Urgh, i thought this was open world like wow. Is it like conan and tera where you can be in the same place as another person and not see them because they are in a separate copy of that zone? If thats the case i am glad i didnt buy it yesterday when i was so close to doing so :/

Why can no other game do what wow does and have everyone in the same place? :|
 
Re the comments about population decline. For those of us that are on Ravenous bear in mind that we're on a PvP server and PvP is a bit of a mess right now, a lot of people will be waiting for the patch in a couple of weeks that's meant to sort a lot of it. I know i'm not logging in much atm while i wait.

Because wow doesn't use instanced zones :rolleyes:
 
Just been messing around on the test server to try today's Esper changes.

PP gain is up quite a bit for both Telekinetic Strike and Psychic Frenzy as they've halve the stacks you need to get an extra PP from 6 to 3. Psychic Frenzy is now 2 hits instead of 3, is smoother and gains PP faster.

The real kicker is Telekinetic Strike now being mobile though, over 2k non crits with a mobile 30m ranged builder is nice especially as the test gear has zero runes in it (Edit - plus i just realized i haven't even used any amp points yet, d'oh!). No more pigeon holed into melee esper for pvp now :) The innate not rooting you now helps a LOT too.

But in a guild runs it's not so bad, done it when I was level 17, with 2 other level 17, one level 22 and level 27 stalker tank, we had no wipes and did it in a hour, think just under (I died 3 times :()
 
Logged in to open my daily boombox and out popped a lvl 50 purple Psyblade weapon. Ooh i thought! Straight to the auction thinking i'll sell it for a couple of plat as even though it's stats suck (150 less support power than even the blues on there) people buy shiny purple things. Soulbound! Grrr.
Oh well, at least it'll sell to the vendor for a whole 3.5 gold lol.

I appear to be the only person online in the guild atm, everyone else waiting for the PvP patch too?
 
Im at work atm lol will be on around 8/9ish lol. Guild has gone down as there is 24 people who havnt logged on in a month.

we do have 26ish level 50s but whn im on with clarticus there is only another 50 on or somtimes just low levels lol
 
Ah, i tend to just log on in the morning or early afternoon for a few BG matches on alts when i have free time atm. There's usually a good few on on then including something like 8 50's 2 mornings ago so i had assumed at the time that peak time online members must be rockin these days. I guess not lol.

I'd play more and log on in the evenings if i knew exactly what is going to happen with the PvP patch and gear rating in a couple of weeks, i just don't want to have a couple of bad nights in BG's and end up back down at 1200 rating and not be able to buy gear after the patch if the end up keeping it at 1500 and 1800 for now :p
 
So since getting hacked I've had all my gear restored to me, hurray! Also as an added bonus they mailed me 58 plat back that they said was on my account when it was hacked! I think i had about 4 max before it was hacked so I'm now rich haha.
They also let me keep all the items that were farmed, like ores and woods, so i now have around 600 of each of the highest level materials. Double bonus!
 
I need to give this a better shot so reinstalling. I wish I could make the whole text bigger though without dropping res.

Get buying CREDD to sell later, it's starting to climb in price :p
