Will AMD ever fix the corrupt mouse cursor issue that has been around for years

As per the title really.

Every single day my mouse cursor goes corrupt at some point and the only way to fix it is to restart the computer. I have just about had enough and am very tempted just to sell my 290X and buy a 970 for an easy life.

This is an issue I have had for the last 3 AMD cards I have owned. It is a common problem that is well documented. I have the latest drivers.

Just so everyone is on the same page, this is what I am talking about:

Can any AMD rep comment? It may seem minor but it is making me not want to keep my other wise great video card. Well that and the complete lack of driver support but that is another matter.

If you had this through 3 different amd GPUs then am sorry but this clearly something else making this happen..

Can you get a screenshot of the glitch happening?

Really strange, i have amd cards for years 2900, 9800, 3870, 6870, 7870, 7950, 290X and i never even heard of that before....

Has this pc ever had windows reinstalled? All mouse drivers, chipset drivers installed.

Are you running Windows in full 3D mode and not that basic desktop that has effects on graphics.

I've had that happen before, probably back when i had 7970s.
Didn't even know it was a fault (with AMD, thought it was something else) just lived with it till i restarted computer or whatever :p

I've seen a cursor like that on my 7850 rig, only once but it was certainly weird! Can't remember how long ago that was so if it was before or after I reinstalled everything from fresh - I think before? So when machine had probably got some older driver bits and pieces left over, but really can't be sure so hardly a diagnostic step :/

Edit: It could have been longer ago, might have been on my 5750, really can't remember :/

It is definitely an AMD issue. I have had a combination of different hardware and every time I had an AMD card I get these issues. The 290X has been the worst so far getting the corruption ever single day without fail.

I don't think AMD have ever even acknowledged it is a problem. You just get the usual standard response on their forums.

Amd cards iv had:

x850xt
2900xt
4870x2
HD7950
HD7950 Crossfire

Never had that bug once ever didn't even know it existed lol

Yes AMD has acknowledged as a problem and it been in release notes and i used to get it sometimes on my 5970s with multi screens ALT TAB-ing once in a blue moon so was not really bothered.
