Will t-cut sort some small scratches caused by backpack on seat cowl?

When I first got my speed I had an old backpack that sat on the seat cowl which eventually caused some small scratches, the type of scratch that you get when you put something in your pocket with your keys for too long.

Is that something that t-cut would sort, or is there something else I should be using?

They're not too bad and most of them rubbed out, but want to get rid of all of them.

If it would do the trick, do I get the actual t-cut scratch remover paste stuff, or should I just go for the original liquid stuff in a red bottle.

Thanks.

I would not start with t-cut that is the last result if you go to hard you will make it patchy.

Try a good wax first like meguires.

I have only ever washed with meguiars wash and wax & also wax with autoglym, neither did the trick. I'll pick up some meguiars wax and try that, I've never been that impressed with autoglym aqua stuff tbh

I got a lot of them out with elbow grease (as in the degreaser stuff called elbow grease) but the last few are a bit more stubborn. I have always wondered about t cut and if it's too harsh on paint but I guess I just need to be careful.

Just be careful, by the way the elbow grease you talk about is awesome for wheels for sure great find for quid I must agree.

Wax won't do it,its simply not strongenough, try t cut,be gentle if you want but trust me youll be rubbing night and day to breakthrough the lacquer, I've tried

Wax is good at removing the t cut residue though after you've rubbed at the scratches with it

Then all I can say is t-cut is not what it was years ago.

Just be careful a genie don't pop out your tank as your rubbing

I was rubbing at a few scratches on mine the other day, rubbed that hard my finger started toburn but paint was fine, just take your time and do it gentle, can always repeat it if need be

@craig you should getsome of that clear film I keep telling you about, saves all those scratches

I had to stick some on mine for the same reason, pillions jeans and rucksack rubbing on paint
