It still only has a 3 megapixel camera which is a bit crap.

Its not as though its cheap. I would say 5 is reasonable on such an expensive phone.

It's all about sensors and optics.

I'm not sticking up for Apple here, 3MP is stingey but that's not to say it wouldn't out perform a no-name 5MP camera with a poor sensor.
 
An incremental update with astronomical pricing.

I won't be buying one.

I'll look again once they remove the outrageous tethering charge.
 
Personally I think people who buy out their contract to upgrade immediately should have to wait an extra week. Would reduce initital demand and allow people who actually deserve an upgrade/buy one for the first time to get one quicker.

... just bitter because I want one but don't want to face the queues on Friday :( |:D

That's why they have to buy out; so they don't have to wait 6 months ;)

It's the people who want to migrate numbers that will slow the queue down.. good luck if they're coming in without a PAC code.
 
They only way I'll upgrade is if they do it free without updating/renewing my contract.
When my contact runs out I hope therex a new phone out, not just another version.

I wanted a white when they launched but they only ever had black. To be honest I want the white as I don't see any around.

I doubt they'll ever do it "free with contract".. they need to, but demand is already high and they're creaming the money in.
 
Got to admit thats the main reason I got it in black as I really dont need the vindication as people walk past 'OMG he haz iPhone'. Ive bought it for its functionality and not for its looks - why Ive had to wait for this version but even considering it unfortunately...

Also the O2 shop bloke yesterday summed it up nicely 'Whenever I see a white iPhone user, I think Chav riche ;)'. Made me smile :)...

Black, for me, it most definitely is...

Anyone know if CPW send an email when they despatch? Just wondering whether to stay at home in the morning to avoid having to fetch it from the depot.
Wish I'd paid for a saturday delivery now
